TSSC 57

This card was made for Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge, TSSC 57. I loved this sketch especially because I just got this new Memory Box paper pack Saturday when some friends and I hit some of the stores on our Shop Hop card. I was dying to use the paper right away. Isn't it pretty paper, though IRL it is lighter and not quite so greenish. The whole card came out darker than it really is, all the colors are more pastel. I will be keeping this sketch close by and using it often because it makes such a nice card I think.

The flowers on the oval part of the card are stamped with one of my Rubber Stamp Tapestry sets, I tried to match the flowers and the colors on the DP. The bitty pearls around the oval are from those stickers that are at Michaels that I talked about in an earlier post. I love using them because of their size and they are self stick.

Supplies:
Stamps: Rubber Stamp Tapestry
CS: SU Lavender Lace, Bashful Blue, GP white and DP New Memory Box
Ink: Ass't SU colors
Accessories: Ribbon (Michaels), Butterfly punch (Paper Shapers), Nesties, Hero Arts Rhinestones and Michaels Rhinestone Stickers(pearls)

I have this week off because of school vacation and have already started playing a lot and using the new stuff that I bought on Saturday. I am hoping to post often where I have free time this week so please come back and visit again to see what I have created.

Thanks for looking,
Mary

Love your cards! I see we are neighbors--I'm in Westford, MA.

More snow tonight but it won't last long before it turns to rain--yeah!

Best, Nola
